Kohaku/Eikun Brewery

On January 29th, 2007, I acquired this singular Sake at Ichikawa Shoten, Kambara, Shimizu Ku.
This sake was made in the old fashion: its base was taken from a batch made in 1968 and then matured in casks for 10 years. It is exceptionally strong for a sake: 25~26 degrees!
The colour has turned to a very dark brown.
Mr. Ichikawa advised to heat it to 40 degrees Celsius before enjoying it.
